Electrical exports hit record high

12 Sept 2026

Bangladesh sold more electrical and electronics goods to other countries. The Export Promotion Bureau shared new data. Sales went up by 23.82 percent.

Last year, these exports were worth $166.52 million. This year, they reached $206.19 million. That is a new record.

But there are new rules from the European Union. These rules are about compliance. They can make selling to the EU harder.

If you run a small online shop, this news matters. More exports can mean more demand for local products. But EU rules may affect what you can sell abroad.
